The concept for this piece is based off of the homelife of an autistic child and how they experience the world when their routine is disturbed. The homelife is broken, the parent is a single mother and they live in a south London estate in a council home.
The father is estranged and makes no real effort to interact with their child unless it is to argue with the mother. This piece will explore how a broken home life affects a child with autism through the use of sound and colour to represent ideas of sensory overload.
