“5 Minutes From Home” is a short dramatic narrative film of rejection, shame, and lost hopes. The film has an ERT of 5 minutes.
SYNOPSIS:
“5 Minutes from Home” is a short film about a young lady from Virginia that pursued her life-long dream to be in a film in Los Angeles. She immediately finds out that there’s a dark side of the film industry. Because of her mother’s strong teaching, she would not compromise her values. As she drives back to her hometown, she receives a call from her baby brother in who she can trust with her vulnerabilities, shame, and rejection.
ROLES:
TRISH is a fair skinned, small framed, 5′-5’10”, 20-30 years old, weight approximately 120-155- Aspiring actress, normally bubbly, sassy, and overly excited. This day she is just the opposite with emotions of anger.
JOSH (voice over only) is 19-25 years old-Trish baby brother. He is a protector of her. He is normally a relaxed guy. He has somewhat of a deep voice.
Due to Covid-19 we are shooting the characters separately. Because the scene of Trish is being filmed in a vehicle, videographer will be masked.
COMPENSATION: $50 (cash), food and credits.
