Casting an untitled paranormal project in the style of Ghost Adventures by an award winning, female executive producer Maiya Kenick.
Maiya Kenick has received over 35 top awards for her “Voyeur to the Paranormal” as Best Producer, Best Reality, Best Documentary, Best Cinematography, Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Actress from various int’l film festivals held in cities such as Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Paris, Rome, London, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, Trieste, Madras, Kolkata, Bali, etc. In the pilot, Maiya Kenick interviews “Bloody Mary,” “Voodoo Queen of New Orleans” and explores paranormal phenomena that plagued the set of American Horror Story Season 3, The Coven. The docu-short has been picked up by a US distribution company that deals with Netflix, Hulu, InFlight Entertainment and other streaming services.
I (Maiya Kenick) am looking for 1 additional female who will join. The project will follow 4 women who get together to investigate Spirit appearances and phenomena. It will be a series of reality TV episodes dealing with different aspects of ghost hunting and the paranormal. Cast must be comfortable with real seances, real spirit communications and spending time (night) in haunted places. Also, note that some shoots might involve lingerie shots as part of prep. Indicate that you are comfortable with such situations. Shooting with minimal crew and precautions will be taken to maintain Covid safety. Be prepared to send short video at a short notice stating your interest / experience with the paranormal. There is no restriction for sending the video now, either.
Unpaid. Meals, travel and lodging stipend. IMDb credit. As casting is seeking primarily applicants based in Los Angeles area, travel stipend is intended for project travel from Los Angeles to the locations mentioned below, and not for travel to Los Angeles from outside area. If you live outside Los Angeles travel area, do not apply.
